Are Roller Coasters Dangerous?

When we think about amusement parks we remember first the roller coasters. Some of them are really thrilling and many people love to ride them. They make curves, go up and down and put you upside down at incredible speeds. All these exercises give your body an acceleration next to what is felt by formula one or fighter plane pilots.
Not everyone can take such forces with the same impunity. Scientists studied the case of five people who had severe headaches a few hours or days after riding a roller coaster. They discovered that three had had small strokes and two had bleeding in an artery in the head. Notice that they were absolutely healthy people until that day.Anyway, just a minor part of people may develop symptoms after a roller coaster ride.
In the USA  an amusement park offered a jeep to whoever(1) rode the rails for the longest time. Three men tied for first place after riding the rails for sixty days, seventeen hours a day with only breaks for food. The park was called “Six Flags Over Georgia”.
